How do you wish to feel at work?

Emotional fit is the alignment between how we want to feel at work and how we actually feel.

About Jochen Menges

Jochen Menges is a professor at the University of Zurich and Cambridge Judge Business School. He studies how leaders shape motivation, emotions, and collective success at work.

His research combines rigorous science with real-world relevance and has been published in leading journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, and Journal of Applied Psychology.

Upcoming book: Emotional Fit

“We spend our lives learning how to think.
Almost no one teaches us how to feel”

After years of studying how feelings shape decisions, emotions, and relationships, Professor Jochen Menges realized something unsettling: most of us are living emotionally illiterate lives. In his debut novel, Professor Menges invites readers into the world of emotions, teaching them the language we’ve been speaking all our lives - without realizing it.

The book is currently in development and scheduled for release later this year.
